ABOUT the teacher | Katie Tolson comes from a line of gardeners—she developed her chops sneaking her mom’s and grandmother’s snap peas and sun-warmed tomatoes off the vine. Now she runs Seed-on-Hudson with a mission to grow our community’s love of heirloom + unusual varieties of homegrown vegetables, herbs, fruits and native plants. She is also reinvigorating the Hastings-on-Hudson Seed Exchange with The Great Hastings Seed Swap, which we hope becomes an annual tradition. @seed_on_hudson
